Go Local 2014 is just over 3 weeks away!

Last week's training session at the Williamson's house.



Go Local 2014, the week of July 20-25, promises to be exciting as we discover many ways to serve and glorify God in community ministries right in our own city!  

Highlights include:
- Worship at Church under the Bridge on Sunday
- BYBCs at Frontier Valley and local apartment communities
- Reading with kids at LISD Feeding Program
- Work projects and worship at Twin Lakes Fellowship Resource Center
- Visit and serve at other community impact ministries
- Foster/Adopt Ministry Summerfest
- Fun dancing with Dorothy, swimming, and a little competition
- A little R&R at the local La Quinta

Reminders:

* If you haven't sent out your support letters or paid your $75 deposit you need to do that asap.  www.hcbc.com/go
* Our next and last, very important training will be July 13th from 1:30 - 3:00 at HCBC/Lakeline.  Everyone should plan to attend. 
* Bring your notarized Medical Release and Liability Release to the next meeting.

Parent Opportunities                                                           

·       - Pray daily and follow this blog

·       - Bring 8 sandwich bags with 4-6 cookies, brownies, treats to Summerfest at

HCBC Austin.  Drop treats off at the church on Friday before 5 PM.

 - Volunteer at Summerfest game booths or with food on Friday night at HCBC Austin.  Arrive at 5:30 PM.  Stay and worship with us after Summerfest.

·       Pick up students Friday night at 10:30 PM at HCBC Austin.
